Hello and welcome to the Mrs. MICHIGAN-America and Miss for MICHIGAN website! I am thrilled to be the "NEW" director for the great state of Michigan!
I would like to give you a little insight about myself. I have been active in the pageant world for over 40 years! I have been a contestant, title holder, judge, coach, emcee and choreographer. My husband and I were married in July of 1999. I stayed home and help raise to wonderful girls, but then returned to the business world and now own BLUSHING BRIDE ON 17. I was very honored to win the Mrs. Indiana America title in 2000.
I was given the chance to compete at the Mrs. America pageant in Hawaii in September of 2000 and arrived "proudly" as the oldest contestant that year at the age of 42! I had so many wonderful experiences as Mrs. Indiana, and I have always encourage other women to take a chance and enter their state pageant. The Mrs. & Miss MICHIGAN America staff and I are working very hard to make sure that the state pageant is successful in every way! We welcome married women 21 and older and Miss contestants, 18 and older, to follow their dream and have a chance to become the next Mrs. Michigan or Miss Michigan for America, and possibly Miss for America, Mrs. America and Mrs. World!
